Four day workshop on Basics of photography and studio lighting
OVERVIEW WORKSHOP OUTLINE

Buying a fancy camera is just the first step towards understanding photography. And with instruction manuals that are intimidating and filled with jargon, your journey towards photography is halted pre-maturely. You fall into the easy rhythm of shooting on AUTO without completely exploring the options your camera provides.

Our workshop is designed to help people master the controls of their cameras. At the end of the workshop, you will be outfitted with adequate operational know-how which combined with your zest for photography, will take you to heights you never dreamed of.

The workshop begins with a step-by-step method of familiarizing you with your camera. The instructor will explain photography jargon and patiently take you through the process of choosing between the different modes available, selecting the correct exposure and the right settings in your camera. You are then taught about different lenses, techniques of lighting and how each step complements the other in producing a good photograph.
Once you get the hang of the technicalities, the instructor will share with you tips and tricks of composition to help you take pictures that draw admiration from family and friends. To add to that, an introduction to basic lighting techniques and indoor portraiture under studio lights will make you wonder how anybody can end up making a passport photograph look bad.

Practice makes perfect and keeping that in mind, you are given enough time to practice utilizing the world-class facilities of PhotoIndia's studios and setup. At the end of the workshop, instructors review shots taken by you and tell you what needs to be improved

" It was an excellent class. The best part was that the instructor showed us that a good picture is more important than the technical aspects of the camera. I had a great time. "
