One Day Workshop on Basics of Photography
The workshop aims to introduce you to the fundamentals of photography and in helping you to make the best use of your camera, DSLR or Point & Shoot. The workshop also puts in perspective what is important to make a good picture and what is superfluous! Today's Cameras often have more dials and controls which often seem intimidating and confusing to a beginner. The workshop will help you in de-mystifying and simplifying terms like aperture, shutter-speed, ISO, white-balance etc. The workshop will help you put at rest any fear you have about the technicalities of a DSLR camera and using the 'MANUAL' mode. At the end of the workshop, you will be outfitted with adequate operational knowhow, which combined with your zest for photography, will take you to heights you never dreamed of. The workshop begins with a step-by-step method of familiarizing you with the controls of your camera. The instructor will explain photography jargon and patiently take you through the process of choosing between the different modes available, selecting the correct exposure and the right settings in your camera. You are then taught about different lenses, techniques of lighting and how each step complements the other in producing a good photograph. Once you get the hang of the technicalities, the instructor will share with you tips and tricks of composition to help you take pictures that draw admiration from family and friends. By the end of this session you will be familiar with the technicalities of photography and comfortable with the functions offered in a digital camera. Practice makes perfect and keeping that in mind, you are given enough time to practice utilizing the world class facilities of PhotoIndia's studio and setup. |
