DSLR Film Making
OVERVIEW WORKSHOP OUTLINE

Handy cams will soon become obsolete as DSLRs have decided to make a foray into the world of video recording. The latest DSLRs now come with the option of HD recording which means that you no longer have to lug around two cameras to capture still and video imagery. All it takes is a turn of the dial and viola! you can switch between shooting videos or still pictures.

The DSLR has suddenly become even more appealing. For a fraction of the cost of a heavy-duty film making camera, the lightweight DSLR can capture not just motion but also still life. If you have been using a DSLR for some time, now is your opportunity to explore the world of film making. Of course, you need an introduction to the world of cinematography and that is precisely what out workshop provides.

We teach you not just the technicalities of shooting in HD on a DSLR but also the art of cinematic story-telling. You get to learn to put a narrative together by choosing the right lens, camera angles, lighting and location. Our instructors guide you in understanding actor-camera choreography and how to produce fluid imagery that tells a story.

Mind you! Film makers across the world including India have started shooting entire movies using DSLR cameras and have produced fantastic results. If you own one and have always dreamed of making a movie then there should be nothing stopping you from joining the league of new age film makers.

We invite you to become a part of the revolution that is bidding farewell to bulky and expensive video cameras.
